Fund-raising Consideration

The needs of Berkeley Echo Lake Camp are many. The opportunities for the Berkeley Echo Lake Camp Association to help meet those needs are great.

The following list outlines anticipated projects at Echo Lake Camp. They are divided into three categories by priority.

Highest Priority

  • Electrical lines to tent groups of two
    • Bobcat or trencher for one week - $700
    • Conduit, wire, and bigger fuse boxes - $2,000
    • Labor – maybe camp worker – or $3,700 for electrician
    • Total $2,700 - $6,400
  • Barbecue between Office & Basketball Court - Phase one
    • Plans – a camp worker will draw
    • Foundation – digging – gravel – concrete - $800
    • Fire brick & cinderblock - $1,500
    • Grill - $200
    • Labor - $2,000
    • Total - $4,500
  • Tent 10 – Convert to Wheel Chair accessable cabin
    • Complete demolition
    • Enlarge to look like nurses cabin
    • Some funding will come from City of Berkeley
    • Total - $20,000
  • Tent Canvas
